On Tuesday 2nd August 2022 Carine HB9FZC and Rene HB9NBG two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Mont Mort and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 48 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Mont Mort is 2867 metres (9406 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
