On Tuesday 2nd August 2022 Carine HB9FZC and Rene HB9NBG two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Pointe de Brasson and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 26 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Pointe de Barasson is 2963 metres (9721 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
