On Monday 27th June 2022 Pete WA7JTM/P a radio amateur from Pheonix, AZ reached the summit of Mount Lemmon and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
Pete made 17 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, metre HF amateur radio bands.
Pete made 13 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 15 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mount Lemmon is 2792 metres (9160 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups data base.
