On Monday 27th2022 Peter WA7JTM/P a radio amateur from Phoenix, AZ reached the summit of Bigelow Mount and activated the summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
Peter made 18 contacts in total working on the 15, 20, 40 and 60 metre amateur radio bands.
The summit of Bigelow Mount is 2604 metres (8543 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups data base.
