On Monday 18th July 2022 Stefano IZ3NVR a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Piccolo Lagzauoi/Klienen Lagazuoi and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 19 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Piccolo Lagzauoi/Klienen Lagazuoi is 2778 metres (9114 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
