On Thursday 14th July 2022 Marcin I/LB0OG/P a radio amateur from Norway reached the summit of Tofana di Dento and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 5 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 20metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Tofana di Dento is 3238 metres (10623 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
