Stern of MV Tarpon Sentinel.
The ship was launched on the 18th of January 1968 as the EREDINE I for John SWire and Sons. In August of 1974, she was sold to Tarsen Shipping Co. of Piraeus and renamed TARPON SENTINEL. On April 3rd 1983, on a voyage from Pensacola to Port Said, the ship suffered an engine/electrical failure and drifted aground 13 miles off Bizerta, Tunisia. She was re-floated on the 18th of May and anchored nearthe port of Bizerta, awaiting repairs.

However, on the 19th of October, the ship dragged it's anchor in a gale and ended up on the shore. She later broke in two and was declared a total loss.
