On Monday 8th August 2022 Thomas F4IOQ/P a radio amateur from France reached the summit of Tête des Lauzières and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 19 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit Tête des Lauzières is 2928 metres (7867 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
