The Harmon was originally planned to be 47 stories, but was capped at 26 after developers discovered construction defects. The $8.5B structure was originally planned to be a condo/hotel, but the condo part was also scrapped following the construction problems. The tower is set to be demolished at a cost of $11.5M.
