On Thursday 29th June 2023, Kiril LZ1EEA/P, a radio amateur from Bulgaria reached the summit of Ushite and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 10 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
The summit of Ushite is 1977 metres (6486 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
