Thongs Bridge Station was a railway station in England. The station opened 1.7.1850, closed to passengers 2.11.1959 and closed completely 3.5.1965. The station was opened by the Huddersfield & Sheffield Joint Railway which was part of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway from 1847 and was closed by British Railways (North Eastern Region).

What's left today:
The station has been demolished and cutting it sat in has been buried. Houses have been built on the stie between 2014 and 2015.
