Whitworth was a railway station in England. The station was opened 1.11.1870, closed temporary 16.6.1947, closed permanently (passengers) 14.12.1949 and closed completely 21.8.1967. The station was opened by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway and closed by the London, Midland & Scottish Railway.
What's left today:
The station site has been demolished. Housing now occupies the site.
