Lysgårdsbakken

Lysgårdsbakken (StreetView)
Lysgårdsbakken Stadion is a ski jump hill in Lillehammer, Norway. It was used as arena for ski jumping (K90, K120 and team events) and Nordic combination (K90 and team events), as well as the opening and closing ceremonies for the 1994 Winter Olympics. The stadium holds a maximum of 40,000 spectators, and was built in 1993.

The hills annually host a competition in the FIS ski jump world cup, as a part of the Nordic Tournament. Lysgårdsbakkene holds status as Norway's national arena for ski jumping, together with Holmenkollen in Oslo and Granåsen in Trondheim.

As a part of Lillehammer Olympiapark, the hills are one of the city's most popular tourist spots.
