Mayer Mansion

Mayer Mansion (StreetView)
Mayer Mansion is an Italianate villa-style home that was once owned by Gustav A. Mayer, a 19th-century inventor whose sugar-cookie recipe later became Nabisco’s Nilla Wafers. After Mayer died in 1918, his two daughters stayed there until beyond their 100th birthdays, never leaving the mansion once.

As of February, 2015, the mansion was on the market for $2.3 million, though it needs a little work.
