Inside this building is Yorkville Endoscopy, the clinic in which comedian Joan Rivers underwent a procedure to check on her vocal chords on 28 Aug 2014, during which she stopped breathing and had suffered cardiac arrest which eventually lead to her passing following a week in an induced coma.
