On Saturday 8th July 2023, Chris PY2GUT, a radio amateur from Sao Paulo, Brazil reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activated it on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 5 contacts in total working on the 40m and 15m amateur radio bands.
The summit of this peak is 1521 metres (4990 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
