On Saturday 15th July 2023, Chris PY4/PY2GUT, a radio amateur from Sao Paulo Brazil reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activate it on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 6 contacts in total working on the 40m amateur radio band.
The summit of this peak is 1688 metres (5538 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
