Anta da Cerqueira (Dolmen)

Anta da Cerqueira is a Neolithic dolmen located in the Portuguese countryside. It is located by a small road in a wooded area. The dolmen is an impressive site as a lot of it remains today. The site consists of multiple orthostats. The artificial mound that buried the site still remains today. A corridor, complete with support stones and capstones, leads up to the burial chamber which is also complete with its support stones and large capstone. The corridor is enterable and therefore one can access the burial chamber.
