Axelholm Langdysse (Long Barrow)

Axelholm Langdysse (Long Barrow) (StreetView)
Located in a field near the town of Holbæk on the Danish island of Zealand are the remains of a Neolithic long barrow. The barrow remains in good condition with stone surrounding the edge of the still visible mound. A big tree grows on the side of the barrow and under the tree is a dolmen. The site is clearly visible from the passing road. The site is a registered historical monument and protected.

The grave is thought to have been constructed between 3950 BC - 2801 BC.
