On Sunday 1st October 2023, John EI3KA/P, a radio amateur from County Galway, Ireland reached the summit of Binn idir an Da Log and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 37 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Binn idir an Da Log is 702 metres (2303 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
