This small chapel building is nestled in between terraced houses on Church Steet in Butt Lane. It was built in 1896.
The late nineteenth century was a time of rapid growth for the Baptist church in north Staffordshire and the Butt Lane Chapel was one of a clutch of chapels in the area that opened at that time.
Worship at the chapel takes place on Sunday mornings at 10:30 and again later in the day at 18:00.
