Located in the town of Dalheim in modern-day Luxembourg are the remains of a Gallo-Roman vicus. The vicus was constructed during the reign of Emperor Augustus. The site a strategic point on the Via Agrippa, which was a the main Roman road from the Mediterranean to the Rhine. The site was constructed during the 2nd century AD.
