On Monday 1st April 2024 at 10:15 UTC, Ivo 9A1AA, a radio amateur from Croatia made contact with Petr OK1CEL/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from EVL Krkanka-Strádovské peklo (OKFF-3275), on the 40m amateur radio band. Petr made a total of 51 contacts while at the reserve.
EVL Krkanka-Strádovské peklo (OKFF-3275) is a Protected Area covering 277.4949 hectares lying to the south-east of Prague in the centre of the Czech Republic. It was first designated as a Nature Reserve in 2009 with the latest announcement being in 2013.
