Former Methodist Chapel

Former Methodist Chapel (StreetView)
A former Methodist Chapel on Stoney Lane in Cauldron which is now a private residential home.

The building has a stone plaque with an inscription: “The Gables 1911” but does not mention that it was used as Methodist Chapel. This evidence comes from the Staffordshire County Records Office Ref: D3936/2, where records included the baptism register 1911-1969 are held.

The cost of building the chapel was met by the Flintshire Presbyterian Church and it was built on land gifted by the North Staffordshire Railway.
