At one time, Pontiac was a major source of General Motors vehicles. Quite a few factories could be found throughout the city.Most are abandoned now. The truck and bus factory was completely demolished and remains vacant. Chevrolet and GMC vans, busses, and SUV's were among the vehicles built here.

My Life with General Motors began here at the GM Truck and Bus plant in March or April of 1967. I will be forever Grateful to GM For the success of my Life.
