Gonzalo Mejía Airport

Gonzalo Mejía Airport is located 2km (1.2 miles) southwest of the town of Turbo, Antiouquia, Columbia.

The Cra 1 / La Playa links the airport with Turbp and runs the full length the wooded peninsula on which the airport is situated.

The airport is named for Gonzalo Mejía Trujillo a Columbian businessman and pioneer in aviation in the early 20th century.

The runaway at the airport due to its position on the west coast of the peninsula has suffered from major erosion and as a consequence fixed-flights have been suspended.
