On each side of the road, 2 bunkers of the maginot Sarre sector still bearing aftereffects of the very hard fight of June 1940. On the right side (the nearest) stands Casemate C8B badly damaged, on the other side of the road stands Blockhaus R6B (Hoste-Bas Dam bunker) where german attack was stopped.
