On Thursday 7th July 2022 Jarek F/SP9MA/P a radio amateur from Poland reached the summit of Le Storkenkopf and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 23 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Le Storkenkopf is 1366 metres (4482 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
