Lock 9 - Macclesfield Canal

This is one of the locks in Bosley Flight of Locks on the Macclesfield Canal which is one of the six canals that form the Cheshire Ring.

The Macclesfield Canal links the Trent and Mersey Canal (Hall Green Branch) to the Forest Canal at Marple Junction a total distance of approximately 25miles (40km).

Here on Street View in May2017 a narrowboat, pleasure-craft, is seen existing Lock 9.
