This ancient Roman temple is located in the village of Niha in modern-day Lebanon. The temple is part of a series of temples and shrines built by the Romans on the slopes of Mount Hermon in modern-day Lebanon, Israel and Syria. All temples and shrines are located in rural villages. They were discovered in the 19th century by Edward Robinson and Sir Charles Warren.
