On Saturday 2nd September 2023, Peter VE6FPV, a radio amateur from Calgary, Alberta reached the summit of Mount Cline and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 5 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
The summit of Mount Cline is 3361 metres (11027 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
