On Monday 26th September 2022, Peter VE6FPV, a radio amateur from Calgary, AB reached the summit of Mount Sarbach and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 12 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Mount Sarbach is 3155 metres (10351 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
