Niederaussem Power Station

The power plant's capacity
of 3,900 megawatt (MW) is distributed across
nine units, the largest and most modern being
the lignite-fired power station with optimized
plant engineering (BoA). With its efficiency
of 43.2 %, it has chalked up a new all-time
high for power generation from lignite.
