The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation.
The Yankee Air Force B-25D was manufactured by North American Aviation in Kansas City, Kansas in 1943. It served in North Africa with the 12th AF 57th Bomb Wing, 340th Bomb Group in Corsica, which is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, owned by France.
This is the only B-25D flying today.
