Palinuro is a school ship of the Italian Navy. She was originally French and launched in 1920, purchased in 1950 and recommissioned after rebuilt in 16 July 1955. (this information from Jane's Fighting Ships 1958-59, according to some web sources Palinuro was built in 1934)
