On Thursday 3rd August 2023, Manuel HB9DQM/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland, reached the summit of Punkt 2768 bei Campanile and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 50 contacts in total working on the 60m, 40m, 30m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Punkt 2768 bei Campanile is 2768 metres (9081 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
