Originally built for Robert "King" Hooper, a prominent shipowner and merchant in Marblehead, Massachusetts in the 1700s, the home was disassembled and moved to it's current location from 1935-1937. Currently known as 'The Lindens', the home has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1969.
