FKA Three World Financial Center and AKA American Express Tower, this is 1 of 4 towers comprising the Brookfield Place complex in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Rising 51 floors and 225 m (739 ft), it's situated between the Hudson River and the WTC. The building opened in 1986 as part of the World Financial Center and was designed by Haines Lundberg Waehler and Cesar Pelli & Associates.
