On Sunday 23rd October 2022, Daniel SP/OM6AN/P, a radio amateur from Slovakia reached the summit of Tomanowy Wierch Polski and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 15 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Tomanowy Wierch Polski is 1977 metres (6486 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
