On Friday 1st December 2023, Artur SP9WLG/P, a radio amateur from Poland, reached the summit of Zadnia Kopka and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 21 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
The summit of Zadnia Kopka is 1333 metres (4373 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
