Frederik VIII and Queen Louise ruled Denmark from 1906-1912.

Frederik died during a private trip to Hamburg, Germany May 14. 1912. He was found dead on a bench on Jungfernstieg. He had no identification on him and he was brought to the morgue as corpse no. 133 but he was later identified.
