King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine ruled Denmark from 1912-1947. Christian became famous for his daily horseback riding around Copenhagen City during the Nazi-German occupation 1940-1945.
They were Grand parent of today's Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece and Princess Benedikte.
