Located in the ancient city of Philippopolis (Plovdiv) in modern-day Bulgaria lies the foundations of an ancient Roman basilica dating back to the beginning of the 5th century AD. The basilica had a total length of 86,4 m and a width of 38,5 m. The foundations and mosaic floors have been excavated.
