Eastern Gate of Philippopolis

This gate was one of the three gates of the ancient city of Philippopolis in modern-day Bulgaria. It was constructed in the 2nd century AD under the reign of Emperor Hadrian. The gate and surrounding area were completely rebuilt during the 4th century and repaired during the 5th century.

It is located in the modern-day city of Plovdiv.
