'Bomb Factory' House destroyed 09 Dec 2010

At 10:55 a.m., authorities set fire to the northwest Escondido home to render harmless what they say is a record-size cache of explosives.

The house has been deemed a public safety hazard since Nov. 18, when a gardener accidentally triggered an explosion while working in the yard.
