Circuit of the Americas (StreetView)
A view from the apex of the first corner looking back towards the paddock area of the Circuit of the Americas, home of the Formula One United States Grand Prix.

After crossing the start/finish line, drivers face a steep 133 feet slope towards the first corner, a tight left-hand turn which sends the cars back downhill towards a series of high-speed S-curves.

The facility held its first race, the US Grand Prix, on November 18, 2012. England's Lewis Hamilton stood atop the victory podium at the end of the event.
