Madison International Speedway

High banked 1/2 mile stock car racing track was built in 1969 and was originally named Capitol Speedway. For a few years in the 80's it converted to a dirt track known as Impact Speedway. The facility was closed for some time until it reopened in 1992 with a paved surface.
