Myrtle Beach Speedway

This NASCAR sanctioned track first opened as a dirt track in 1958. It changed back and forth between dirt and paved surfaces a few times from 1974 until it was changed to the current .538 mile paved oval design in 1987.

This track is rich with history over the ages as it's been a proving ground for many eventual NASCAR stars.
