This is the baseball field where Congressional Republics were practicing for a charity baseball game when shots rang out. Five people were injured including Congressman Steve Scalise, House Majority Whip, a Congressional staffer, a Tyson Foods lobbyist, and two Capitol Police officers. The shooter, James Hodgkinson from Illinois was killed.
