HBO Series True Blood - Hotel Carmilla is a hotel that caters to vampires. Most internet references to this location say it was the hotel but clearly the exterior shots are not of this hotel. It was only used for interior shots.

The exterior shots are of the Coutyard by Marriott in Providence, RI. The name on the building has been changed obviously, but one can see Waterplace Park in the foreground and the Westin hotel rising behind.
